Best Practices for Your Stay

Please know that prior to your visit, we are praying for you.

God gave us the words rest and vision for Golden Eagle Lodge. Every detail of the lodge was designed through the lens of these two priorities:

Does this help our guests rest?
Does it give them space for vision?

We pray that during your stay, you experience both.

Here are a few ways to prepare your heart and mind in advance:

  • Pray prayers of expectation before you arrive. Ask God to speak to you.
  • Clear your calendar. Let your team know you’ll be unavailable for a few days.
  • Limit distractions. Leave space to reflect, recharge, and listen.
  • Pack simply. We’ve equipped the lodge with everything you need to feel at home.

Come open.
Whether you’re visiting as an individual, with family, or with your team, we believe God will meet you uniquely in this space.

🐐 Our Hobby Farm

Golden Eagle Lodge is nestled on a peaceful hobby farm—something our guests of all ages love.

We currently care for:

  • Goats – including baby goats in the spring and summer (a seasonal favorite!)

  • Chickens – happy hens that provide fresh eggs daily

  • Barn cats – friendly, curious, and always on patrol

  • A dog – our loyal (and gentle) farm companion who loves greeting guests

You’re welcome to visit the animals, feed them with supervision, or simply enjoy watching them from the porch with coffee in hand.

Please note: While interaction is encouraged, we kindly ask that children are supervised and animals are treated gently.

Let us know if you or your kids would enjoy a little farm chore time or bottle-feeding when baby goats are around—it’s often a highlight of the trip!

We really want you to have a blessed visit

A rhythm that allows time to unwind, hear from God, and leave refreshed. We’re honored to host you and believe this place will mark you in all the right ways.

If you have any other questions, just ask. We’re here to help.
